Hi, I’m Tina, and thank you for visiting my website.
Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I spent 16 wonderful years photographing children in education, and I loved every minute of it. Watching children grow in confidence, capturing their unique personalities, and creating photographs that families would treasure has always been incredibly rewarding.
When my son, Jaxon, was seven months old, I booked one of those “free” baby photography sessions with no obligation to buy. As soon as I saw the photographs, I fell in love with them. They captured such a special moment in his life that I couldn’t imagine walking away without them. Like so many parents, I wanted those memories to keep forever.
The reality was very different. The cost of just a handful of images was far more than my maternity budget could stretch to. I remember feeling upset and, if I’m honest, a little foolish for not asking about the prices before booking the session. I hadn’t expected to be faced with such an expensive decision after becoming so emotionally attached to the photographs. It made me realise how important it is for families to know exactly what they’re committing to before they book.
That experience completely changed the direction of my career.
I realised that no parent should have to choose between their budget and photographs of their children. That’s why I created Snaps Photography Studio – to offer beautiful, high-quality baby, child and family photography across Gloucestershire with honest pricing, complete transparency and no hidden surprises.
My prices are publicly available because I believe you should know exactly what to expect before you book. I also don’t believe in making families buy large bundles of images. Whether you fall in love with one special photograph or want your entire gallery, the choice is completely yours. There are no minimum purchase requirements, no pressure, and no hidden fees—just beautiful photographs at fair, affordable prices.
Today, I’m proud to welcome families from across Gloucestershire to my studio in Nailsworth. My aim is simple: to create beautiful photographs, provide a relaxed and enjoyable experience, and make sure every family can take home the memories they came to capture.
Because I truly believe that if a photograph of your child exists, you should be able to own it and treasure it forever.
The Studio
My studio is based in the upstairs offices at the Mills Estate in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire, with plenty of free parking available for your convenience. The space includes a dedicated photography studio, a props and costume storage area, and a cosy viewing room where you can relax and choose your favourite images.
For families visiting with little ones, there is a buggy storage area downstairs, along with a kitchen where bottles can be warmed and baby changing facilities are available. Please note that the studio is currently located upstairs and unfortunately does not have disabled access at this time.
The studio itself has been intentionally designed to be simple and uncluttered. This is very much by choice—I want your baby to focus on the most important thing in the room: me. By keeping distractions to a minimum, I can capture their attention, expressions and personalities, creating natural images that truly reflect who they are.
